1. CLEANSER

For my first step, I use the Neogen Green Tea Real Fresh Foam Cleanser.  Green tea is a superhero ingredient because of its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial properties. This cleanser has fermented green tea extracts which help brighten, calm and hydrate the skin. What’s so cool about this cleanser is you can see the green tea leaves floating inside the bottle.

2. TONER

After cleansing, I use Acwell Licorice ph Balancing Cleansing Toner. This toner has won the hearts of many K-beauty followers and was Soko Glam People’s Choice Award winner. The superstar ingredient of this toner is licorice root extract which is a natural skin brightener. I love that this toner multi-tasks to remove excess dirt, restore ph levels, and brighten the complexion.

3. ESSENCE

And now, we are on my favorite part of my morning skincare routine. I pour a few drops of the Neogen Real Ferment Micro Essence into the palm of my hand, then I gently pat the essence over my face, neck, and decolletage. This essence is my skin’s power drink. It makes my skin feel so amazing!

The essence contains over 93% naturally fermented ingredients that hydrate, increase elasticity, and brighten the skin. This skin-plumping and brightening essence won the Soko Glam Best of K-Beauty  Lifetime Achievement Award. If there’s one product you need to try from this list… this is it!

4. SERUM

To boost the anti-aging and brightening effect of the essence, I added the Neogen Real Ferment Micro Serum to the mix. The serum contains 61% fermented ingredients and added benefits of Vitamins C, E, and B5. It is also infused with niacinamide and glutathione to even out skin tone.

5. SUNSCREEN

Sunscreen is the most crucial step in any am skincare routine. To protect my skin from the harmful UVA/UVB rays of the sun, I apply a dime-sized dollop of Neogen Day-Light Protection Sunscreen SPF50+++.

If you are looking for a lightweight, quick-absorbing sunscreen that doesn’t leave a white cast, I highly recommend this product. The sunscreen contains titanium dioxide and zinc oxide to protect your skin from sun damage. And, it is also formulated with botanical ingredients to calm and moisturize the skin.

  1. You’ve really got a good skincare routine going Fritzie! Mine is very similar but I don’t currently use an essence. I absolutely love the sound of the Neogen SPF, I’ll have to see if they’re available in the UK yet xxx

  3. You described the essence as your skin’s power drink and got me sold! Love that it is hydrating and helps increase elasticity. With the drying summer coming up too, it is doubly important to nourish my face and hands.

  4. My skin is super sensitive on a morning, it can’t tolerate anything. If I cleanse, anything I out on after it burns, even with products that cause no irritation at night, which is really annoying. So, my morning routine is the most basic, a splash of water and a good SPF. I’m really pale so I take my SPF quality very seriously. I wish I could have a routine like this!
