A few months ago, I shared with you my 5-Step Morning Skincare Routine for Glowing Skin. I wasn’t able to write about my nighttime skincare routine right away because I was still testing various products to include in this pm routine.
Finally, after some trial and error, I found 5 amazing K-beauty skincare products that will help hydrate, nourish, and brighten the skin.

1. OIL-BASED CLEANSER
I always double cleanse at night starting with an oil-based cleanser. I’m currently using Klairs Gentle Black Fresh Cleansing Oil. The key ingredient is 50% sunflower seed oil which is rich in antioxidants and Vitamins A and C.
This is a fragrance-free and essential oil-free cleanser that emulsifies nicely and does a great job of removing my makeup and sunscreen.
2. WATER-BASED CLEANSER
Are you looking for a foaming cleanser that doesn’t make your skin feel tight and dry? Check out Klairs Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser. This product DOES NOT contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS). The main ingredient is Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate (Sarkosyl) which is a plant-derived surfactant that is non-irritating and non-sensitizing. It is also formulated with other skin-loving ingredients like sodium hyaluronate and aloe leaf extract to hydrate and soothe the skin.
3. TONER
I watch a lot of YouTube skincare videos, and when I saw that both Dr. Dray and James Welsh recommended the I’m From Rice Toner – I knew I’ve got to try this product. The toner is formulated with rice extracts and niacinamide which helps hydrate and brighten the skin.
4. SERUM
Vitamin C is a powerful skincare ingredient. It can help reduce fine lines and even out the skin tone. I’ve been wanting to incorporate Vitamin C in my skincare regimen, so I tried Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Drop.
The serum contains 5% L-ascorbic acid. I am new to the Vitamin C game, so this gentle formula is ideal for my sensitive skin. I’ve been using this serum every night (except when I do an exfoliating night with my AHA products) for almost 3 months now. And though, I haven’t seen a lot of changes in my fine lines yet, it did help make my skin look more even and radiant.
5. MOISTURIZER
I’m happy with my cleansers, toner, and serum. But, I was having a hard time choosing a good moisturizer for this routine. I have combination/sensitive skin, and the wrong moisturizer makes me break out. I chatted online with one of Soko Glam’s representatives, and she recommended the Good (Skin) Days On the Bright Side Moisturizer.
I know that’s a pretty long name for a moisturizer, but this product did not disappoint. It is lightweight and non-greasy. It is also packed with very nourishing ingredients such as rice ferment filtrate, probiotics, and ceramides. The madecassoside (derived from Centella Asiatica) really helped calm my skin and prevent any irritation.
Having a good skincare routine is only one of the many ways to achieve healthy, glowing skin. It is also vital to drink adequate amounts of water, eat antioxidant-rich foods, and get enough rest and sleep.

I haven’t heard of these products before so I thank you for sharing your review. I’m trialling several pm skin care products myself right now but I will certainly keep this post in mind if I need to look out for something new.

The night time routine is my favourite! Love getting it all done then relaxing, like a mini pamper session. The I’m from rive toner looks interesting, I’m almost finished the one I’ve been using so I’ll definitely be looking into that one. My most essential product right now is the inkey list beta hydroxy acid, I’m loving it!
