How to Style a Sweater Dress (2 Outfit Ideas)

One of my favorite fall/winter must-haves is a cozy sweater dress. It’s a timeless wardrobe essential that can be styled in so many ways. Sharing with you two easy and chic ways to style it.

1. Sweater Dress + Coat + Over the Knee Boots

For a more polished look, I love to pair a sweater dress with a coat and over the knee boots. It is quiet cold in New York today, so I wore some tights to keep my legs warm.

2.Sweater Dress + Shacket + Ankle Boots

If you’re going for a more casual look, try pairing your sweater dress with a cute shacket. A slightly oversized shirt jacket exudes that off-duty vibe. Add a pair of block heel ankle boots and you’re good to go.

Which of these outfit ideas do you like best? Do you love sweater dresses? What’s your favorite way to style it? Share in the comments below. I’d love to hear from you.

Hope you’re having a great day and thank you so much for reading!

  1. These are two great outfits and perfect for Winter or Spring. As the weather is still really cold here a jumper dress is always a good idea. Thank you for sharing your outfit suggestions.

  2. It’s freezing here in Dorset, England, too. This post has been so helpful to me. I recently bought a jumper dress and wasn’t sure what to wear on my feet with it. I’ve got both styles of boots you suggest. I usually wear a jumper dress with thick tights or leggings, so boots are great! I genuinely was looking at flats and thinking ‘No.’
