8 Summer Essentials I’m Loving Right Now

I have a few sunscreens in my rotation, but my current favorite is the Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics SPF50+ PA++++ sunscreen. This is a lightweight and non-greasy chemical sunscreen that leaves your skin with a semi-dewy finish with no white cast.

2. Foundation

I love the sweat, humidity, and transfer-resistant formula of Bare Minerals BarePro 16-HR Skin-Perfecting Powder Foundation. My shade is Light 25 Warm and it seamlessly matches my skin tone.

3. Mascara

The Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara is one of the best mascaras I’ve ever tried. Check this out if you want a long-lasting, volumizing, and smudge-proof mascara this summer.

4. Blonzer

For a makeup minimalist like me, I enjoy using multi-tasking products. The Bare Minerals Gen Nude Blonzer in an innovative blush + bronzer. I’m loving the shade Kiss of Pink which gives my skin that subtle flush of color.

5. Lip Balm

I prefer hydrating lip products and one of my faves is Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Balm. It’s an all-in-one tinted lip balm and gloss. I got the shade Orchid which is a pretty mauve color.

6. Dress

Nothing beats the feeling of wearing an easy-breezy dress on a hot summer day. And, who said we can’t wear black this season? I’ve styled and worn this little black dress on repeat. It’s a versatile dress that can be styled in so many ways.

7. Sandals

I love the fit and sleek style of these ankle strap block heel sandals. The sandals are so gorgeous and will go with everything – from casual summer dresses to jeans at date night.

8. Bag

Incorporate some texture in your wardrobe with a chic woven bag. I got this macrame bag on sale a few months ago and it’s the perfect accessory for my summer outfits.

    • Thank you Fadima. The lighting must have changed the color of the dress in the photos – it’s actually black. I do like dark blue dresses too.

    • Thanks Lucy. Bare Minerals has been one of my go-to brands because their makeup doesn’t make me breakout. But, I agree… their ptoducts are a little pricey.
