A Quick Tour: Mystic, Connecticut

Looking for your next summer adventure? How about going on a day trip to Mystic, Connecticut?

Recently, my husband and I set out on a bus tour from Albany, New York, to explore this picturesque village nestled in New London County. Join us as we uncover the highlights of our Mystic adventure.

Mystic Seaport

We had a great time exploring Mystic Seaport, the largest maritime museum in the United States. It’s renowned for housing the oldest surviving merchant ship, the Charles W. Morgan whaleship, and offers a wealth of maritime history to discover.

Olde Mistick Village

Our next stop was the Olde Mistick Village, a charming recreation of an 18th-century New England village. During our leisurely stroll, we found a variety of unique shops and eateries, adding to the charm of our Mystic adventure.

Mystic Aquarium

We were excited to visit Mystic Aquarium, where we found a mix of indoor and outdoor exhibits featuring a wide range of marine creatures. We especially enjoyed watching the playful Stellar Sea Lions and admiring the graceful Beluga Whales. It was an incredible experience that left us with fond memories of our time in Mystic.

As we wrap up our time in Mystic, we can’t help but smile at all the fun we’ve had. From diving into history at Mystic Seaport to exploring Olde Mistick Village’s cozy corners and meeting the amazing marine creatures at Mystic Aquarium, every moment was absolutely enjoyable. Thanks for the fantastic adventure, Mystic!

And, thank you so much for reading. Have a lovely day ahead!
